“Jockey Club Mus-Fit Action” is a community project which promotes muscle-strengthening exercise among the young olds.
This project is co-organized by CUHK (Department of Orthopaedics & Traumatology, Faculty of Medicine) and HKBU (Dr Stephen Hui Research Centre for Physical Recreation and Wellness), and it is funded by the Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust.Regular muscle-strengthening exercise has been shown to maintain bone quality, improve musculoskeletal health and lower falling risk.
It is important for our young olds to incorporate muscle-strengthening exercise into their daily activities.
Experts from CUHK and HKBU have designed a muscle-strengthening workout program for our young olds.
Through joining the program and using this mobile app, they can get access to health information and exercise guideline as well as exercise video clips.
To encourage them to adopt a more active lifestyle, this mobile app is composed of different functions as follows: Member System (for members of "Mus-Fit Action").
